These thoughts are virgin.  They are pure and unadulterated.

A virgin is referred to as a girl who has been untouched, unbroken, or still flowered. Abi? Wikipedia says she is 'a sexually intact young woman', oshe! Lolz.

A virgin looks forward to her wedding night.  She dreams about how the sex will be. Who will put off whose clothes?  Will it be like the movies?  Or will her and her new husband be too tired to engage in any sexual activity- that night.   Lolz.  Just saying, not necessarily true.  Apologies to all virgins reading this who are already offended.  Una too dey vex sef.

These days, people look at a virgin and wish her luck with her ‘no-sexcapade’ plan.  I think the will to understand and wait with her is fast dying. 

Men and Virgins

Some don’t believe her.  They are ‘doubting thomas’s’ who until they dip their… *I’m not finishing this sentence*, they won’t believe.  Some never believe.  They think there is no, not one virgin.  Some believe, but want nothing to do with her.  And some just want to keep her that way and make her wifey - that way.

Some guys have too high expectations of a virgin lady. They have this tear rubber idea about her. Tear rubber (physically) yeah, but been a virgin does not automatically make a girl holy. She might not be ‘giving’ for some crazy reasons.  Ladies have different reasons for ‘keeping’.

Why a Virgin Waits?

But don’t get her wrong.  She's not saying she doesn’t like sex.  That’s one of the last thing a wise (and straight) girl should deny in her life.  *rolls eyes*  

Virgins have a reason they choose to stay virgin.  And I believe it’s not exactly so that people can look at them so to say they are different.  I bet you, it’s not easy to stay away from sex.  There is sex everywhere.   Lolz.

She just does not want to engage in premarital sex.  And she has her very personal reason for that.  Be it religion, personal principle, faith, morals, fear,… whatever the basis, just respect her wish.

So, if you, a young man meet one you like, and she says no sex, do respect her wishes- if you can.  It’s just that many men will respect her wish, but how many will stay to ‘wish’ with her? Especially when his ‘wand’ wishes *rolls eyes*

The Deluded Virgin

There are some who wish they were (still) virgins. They lie to themselves and their boyfriends that they are, though they sleep around.    I think it’s a psychological issue called ‘I wish I were still a virgin’ syndrome.  

A male friend told me of a lady whom he had met and grew to like. They became close and he asked her out. The lady told him she was a virgin and he believed her.  He said she was at his place, one day and he went in to have his bath as they were preparing to go out. The next thing, she came into the bathroom naked. Well, this is not a porn site so you know the rest. But he told me that, it was an express way he met when he got in there.

 Na wa o. Some girls can lie for Africa!

He said nothing. But she said something.  She said that, “actually, some virgins don’t bleed when they are dis-virgined. Such is my case”. Oh really?! May be sa. Me I don’t know o.  Guys, is that true?

They went on with the relationship, though his mind and heart were already off.  He said the one wey pain him pass was when he heard what happened to her.   

She had been sleeping with her boss for a long time.  The boss’ wife found out about it and decided to teach her a lesson. She (the boss’ wife) didn’t take it lightly.  She went to the lady’s church on a Sunday service and sat in front row and waited for choir ministration time.   The lady, who happened to be a member of the choir, was singing solo that day.   As soon as the keyboardist played the opening tune and virgin girl put the mic to her mouth to sing the first line, madam jumped on her feet, pointed at her and screamed “See this Ashawo girl that has been fffff… my husband”.

The babe fainted.  And you know the rest.

A Virgin - A Crazy Girl

Show me a 30 something year old virgin, then you have a strong willed lady.  She can wait, she is strong.      Virgins are strong minded, firm and can be disciplined. If it’s her choice to wait that long, then she can persevere. Well, as long as she is straight and healthy.

To Virgins

Do not over imagine and anticipate the first night or first week of your marriage, you are inexperienced d’oh.  E go pain you gan if you get disappointed.  Don’t expect the unrealistic.  Ask questions if you may.  Virgins want a guy who would understand and wait with them till marriage, at the same time be-careful not to end up with some gay dude who will most definitely consent to this.  How will you know? Hian! That’s a WAEC question o. I will know sa. Lolz.   

And ladies, being a virgin, which is good is not the end, but being a complete woman should be the goal.  That you are not having sex now does not make you the most obedient and holy child of God.  What matters is to be obedient in all ways. 'Obedience is better than sacrifice', remember?

Please do not get me wrong o, I’m not saying waiting is not good. I totally support selfishness and waiting until marriage. 100%.
