#HipHop ALLEGIANCE

The #HipHopALLEGIANCE dance concert is being put together by Crew Xtreme, an arts and literary group of Covenant Christian Centre. The event promises to be thrilling and impacting.  Here's what #HipHopAllegiance is really about, in Pastor Poju oyemade's (Pastor, Covenant Christian Centre) words.

 

In the future, a dark and mysterious power rises from the east and sweeps through the twelve colonies seeking to dominate the minds of every living being.

People try to resist the growing threat but they are powerless against it. The strongest are forcibly recruited into an army of mindless drones; the weak are condemned to a life of servitude. The few who remain are scattered across the land; hiding, waiting and hoping.

Among the captured are three strange men known among their peers for their fierce conviction. They dwell in the Light, live by His truth and honour His ways.

Their skills, courage and resilience earns them the highest rank in office. With the accorded prestige and wealth, all that remains is to go through The Initiation. A ceremony that violates everything that the Light represents.

Covenant Christian Centre presents The Allegiance a hip hop dance drama depicting the story of Daniel and his three friends. How the young Jewish boys survived the threat of corruption and the intrigues within the courts of the king.
